Comprehensive Diagnostic and Health Facilities

Our center offers a complete spectrum of medical diagnostic, preventive, and occupational health services under one roof — designed to meet the demanding requirements of the maritime, offshore, and industrial sectors.

Equipped with modern laboratory, radiology, and clinical facilities, we ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant medical evaluations for seafarers, offshore personnel, and shore-based employees. All investigations are conducted under the supervision of DG Shipping–approved medical examiners, registered specialists, and qualified technical staff, ensuring that every assessment meets statutory and international health standards.

Our integrated services include:
• Comprehensive medical examinations for pre-employment, periodic, and fitness assessments
• Pathology, X-ray, and Ultrasound (USG) investigations
• Immunization and preventive health programs
• Specialist referrals and hospital coordination for medical sign-off cases
• Occupational and travel health advisory services

By combining clinical expertise, regulatory compliance, and coordinated care, we provide our clients with reliable, end-to-end health management solutions that ensure crew readiness, safety, and operational continuity.

Physical and Systemic Examination

Every candidate undergoes a detailed medical consultation and physical examination performed by DG Shipping–approved medical officers.
This includes assessment of vital signs, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal systems, ensuring holistic evaluation of functional fitness for duty.
All data is securely maintained in our electronic medical record system for traceability and audit readiness.

Electrocardiography (ECG) and Treadmill Test (TMT)

Our computerized 12-lead ECG and Treadmill Stress Testing systems evaluate cardiac function at rest and under exertion.
Interpretations are performed by consultant cardiologists to detect rhythm disturbances, ischemic changes, and cardiac tolerance — crucial for occupations requiring high physical stamina.

X-Ray Facility

Our Radiology Unit, approved by BARC and AERB, conducts chest X-ray examinations for clinical, occupational, and pre-employment evaluations.

All X-ray procedures are carried out by qualified radiographers under the supervision of registered radiologists, in full compliance with radiation safety and health regulations.

The facility operates strictly under ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, ensuring that every exposure is kept to the minimum necessary for diagnostic accuracy. Proper shielding, periodic equipment checks, and dosimetry practices are followed to maintain the highest standards of patient and staff safety.

Ultrasound (USG) Facility

Our Ultrasound (USG) Department provides imaging for abdominal, pelvic (non-obstetric), and soft-tissue evaluations, supporting both occupational and clinical diagnostic needs.

All scans are performed by experienced and registered sonologists, ensuring professional accuracy and adherence to all regulatory and ethical guidelines, including those mandated under the PCPNDT Act.

Each procedure is conducted in a comfortable and private setting, with emphasis on patient care, quality assurance, and confidentiality at every stage of the examination.

Pathology Laboratory

Our ISO 15189:2022–aligned, NABL (EL)-accredited laboratory provides comprehensive clinical diagnostic testing supported by advanced automation and expert oversight.

We offer a wide range of investigations, including:
• Haematology: CBC, ESR, Blood Grouping
• Biochemistry: Liver, Kidney, and Lipid Profiles, Blood Glucose
• Serology & Immunology: HIV, Hepatitis A/B/C, VDRL, HBsAg, Pregnancy Test
• Urine & Stool Analysis: Routine and Microscopy
• Drugs of Abuse and Alcohol Screening

Every test is performed on fully automated systems and validated by Registered Consultant Pathologists, ensuring uncompromised standards of accuracy, reliability, and quality assurance. Ensuring consistent accuracy, reliability, and trust in every report.

Eye Examination

Comprehensive ophthalmic testing includes:

  • Visual acuity (Snellen chart)
  • Colour vision (Ishihara test)
  • Depth perception and field of vision
These tests comply with ILO-MLC 2006, STCW Table B-I/9, and flag-state navigational fitness requirements.

Audiometry (Hearing Assessment)

The audiology suite is equipped with soundproof cabins and calibrated audiometers to measure hearing thresholds across multiple frequencies.
This test identifies early hearing loss common in high-noise maritime and offshore environments and fulfills OEUK and DG Shipping standards.

Pulmonary Function Testing (Spirometry)

Our computerized spirometry system measures lung capacity and airflow patterns using ATS/ERS-compliant technology.
This test is essential for identifying obstructive or restrictive pulmonary conditions that may affect a seafarer’s ability to perform in confined or polluted environments.

Dental Examination

Dental assessments by consultant dental surgeons include examination for caries, infection, prosthetic stability, and hygiene.
Dental fitness ensures comfort and reduces risk of dental emergencies during extended sea voyages.
